The Darwinism of IoT - GrouYer Issue #12

Some people think that technical innovation is driven by a revolution principle, and moves forward in big, discrete steps that follow major breakthroughs; on the other hand, others believe that it's continuous evolution that makes things moving on.

I'm more for a mix of the two, where a continuous evolution is augmented by a threshold effect that defines when a technology becomes pervasive. We call it singularity and the Internet of Things is approaching that very moment.

But, while we wait for this to happen, we will still have to deal with 2020.

Luckily this week is MWC week, so we will be distracted by all the wonders being presented in Barcelona.
It also means that next week we will have a GrouYer special, all about the Mobile World Congress. Stay tuned, then...

GrouYer is a newsletter focused on the IoT industry, issued weekley (-ish) with a commented selection of topics about the Internet of Things, chosen between the hottest, most interesting, weird, relevant or just plain funny.

GrouYer is curated and commented by Marcello Majonchi, Technology Evangelist, IoT advocate, speaker and consultant
